BLACKBIRD COTTAGE WELCOMES YOU

Inspired by the fresh air, surrounding forests, and abundant wildlife, Blackbird Cottage was designed to make your visit a unique experience that you won't soon forget. This 4 bedroom home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The property was purchased in September of 2020. Soon after began a complete home update:we moved a few walls, added fresh paint, new flooring and bathrooms, and bought cozy new beds to accommodate up to 12 guests. The cottage is decorated in a fun and modern camp-style, complete with a sleek kitchen, granite breakfast counter, coffee/tea bar, and roomy dining area. The new patio door opens to a deck & screened porch, overlooking the wooded property. The rustic family room has original beamed-ceilings and a newly installed wood stove and brick hearth. Completing the first floor are 2 queen bedrooms and 2 new bathrooms. Upstairs, the family comfort continues with a cheery bunk room that sleeps 4 and another guest room with 2 queen beds. Nature abounds outside the doors with a tree canopy full of woodland songbirds, a trout pond, and a cozy, lighted fire-pit grove. If you are looking to have a friends' weekend gathering, work retreat, small reunion, or just a simple family  getaway to spend a week reconnecting with nature, look no further!
